Fuel oil EL low sulfur is a high quality, standardized fuel and is primarily used as heating fuel in private households. EL stands for "extra light liquid".
Eni low-sulfur fuel oil meets the highest standards of environmental compatibility and reliability. It ensures a constant high energy utilization and therefore lowers the consumption of heating oil. At the same time it reduces the maintenance effort for boiler and burner. In addition, fuel oil EL is characterized by low-sulfur, very clean and almost residue-free combustion and is virtually odorless.
It usually contains only refinery additives and has a 20-fold reduced sulfur content compared to standard fuel oil. Sulfur dioxide emissions are comparable to natural gas.
