On 19th April Eni held a workshop on the Energy Transition in the transportation sector at La Sapienza University of Rome, Engineering Department.

Eni has shown the main initiatives aimed to the promotion of a sustainable mobility like the industrial conversion of traditional petroleum refineries into green refineries for the production of high quality biofuels, the development of the infrastructure for the sales of Natural Gas and LNG in the transportation sector, the expansion of the smart mobility through Enjoy car fleet and the deployment of a new low carbon alternative fuel with high alcohol content.
During the workshop the discussion was addressed to the issues of urban air quality in European cities and to the new regulation for vehicle CO2 emissions reduction. In this context, the technological solutions proposed by Eni, define a sustainable path to deal with the challenges posed by the energy transition.
