Enilive produces strategic components based on its own technology. The product portfolio of components includes: detergents based on Calcium Sulfonates technology, Pour Point Depressants Polymethacrylate type, OCPs rubbers Viscosity Modifiers and Dispersants. To produce high-performing products, the best raw ingredients are carefully chosen for each finished product. Enilive components are made at their own facility in Robassomero, Turin, which has very high environmental (ISO 14001), production quality (ISO 9001), and health and safety (ISO 45001) standards. Dispersants are made in plants in Italy under patents and technical agreements of their own.
- DETERGENTS based on Calcium Sulfonates technologies: neutral and overbased types
Enilive overbased detergents are available as 300, 400 and 500 TBN types and have excellent references of use on market word wide. Thank to their high detergent properties and action in neutralizing acidic combustion by-products, these additives provide excellent cleanliness of all engine parts and high capability to keep clean the mechanical parts subject to lubrication, such as cylinder-piston area. Enilive detergents find extensive use in marine, passenger car motor oil and heavy duty diesel applications. An advanced Calcium Sulphur free Overbased detergent based on innovative proprietary technology complete the line.
- POUR POINT DEPRESSANTS Polymethacrylate type
Enilive PPD polymers are available in different molecular weights (low-medium-heavy molecular weight) and different viscosities. Based on own PMA technology, Enilive PPD perform effective action on lubricant oils.
- OCP RUBBERS AND VISCOSITY INDEX IMPROVER
Enilive offers a complete VM’s liquids and/or OCP (Olefin CoPolymer) rubbers recommended to prepare multigrade crankcase engine oils meeting International Requirements Automotive, Marine and Industrial lubricants. Enilive produces in own plants OCP Viscosity Modifier (VM) using own raw materials. Rubbers are treated in order to increase mechanical shear stability with two possible processes: thermo-oxidation and extrusion. OCP rubbers are available in pellets, bales and via dissolution in suitable base stock. Enilive VII are characterized by excellent resistance to ageing and wearing; they shows a good thickening power, excellent shear stability and superior low temperature behavior. It is also available a star-polymer SBR (Styrene Butadhiene Rubber) VII for top-tier lubricant formulations.
- DISPERSANTS
Enilive produces three different Poly-IsoButylen-succinimides (PIBSI) types of dispersants, using a proprietary method. They are Chlorine free and ashless and are specifically designed for different lubricant oils.
